Ironhorse Music Group LLC is pleased to announce the August 10th release date of its second instrumental LP entitled THE VELVET GENTLEMAN part II.
The project’s first single “Heartbreak,” produced by Ironhorse Music Group’s in-house production team The Aqua League (recording artists / songwriters Doug Simpson and Slim) continues the lifestyle soundtrack of the Velvet Gentleman and his exploits in love and life.
The single “Heartbreak” premiered Tuesday, June 22 as a free download (http://ihmg.bandcamp.com/track/heartbreak).
Known for creating lush grooves and a rich sound, The Aqua League has enjoyed pivotal successes, producing music for television, film and DVD releases for MTV, VH1, Bravo and a host of other media companies. The production team has also produced for IHMG’s alternative soul artist The Sistah, Hip-Hop duo Euphon, and producer/songwriter Doug Simpson as well as Hip-Hop artists Niles, Sleepwalkas (Ciph Diggy, K. Gaines), Top $ Raz and EMI / Butterzone Music Group recording artist Extra Large.

In anticipation of his upcoming release, Rough Draft, Ironhorse Music Group LLC producer/recording artist DougSimpson’s EP Sketches is being released as an instrumental project entitled Sketches – The Instrumentals.
The single “Big City” featured Slim of Euphon and was the first off of Doug’s EP. Released in March, “Big City” has been featured on MTV’s Real World: Brooklyn as well as the title song for comedian Owen Smith’s live stand-up comedy DVD entitled Anonymous.
Production has been provided by Slim and Doug also known as The Aqua League. The duo has provided soundscapes for Slim’s Hip-Hop group Euphon, Alternative Soul artist The Sistah, The Aqua League’s The Repositioning LP and instrumental LP The Velvet Gentleman as well as music production for MTV, MTV2, The Speed Network and Bravo for shows like MTV Cribs, Run’s House, True Life, Made and Millionaire Matchmaker, to name a few.
The Sketches EP featured appearances from MCs Slim and Mr. Fantastik of Euphon, Fresh Aire of Hip-Hop trio TriBoro, Johnny Wah and IHMG Alternative Soul artist The Sistah.
