Ironhorse Music Group producer/recording artist Doug Simpson has released “Breakthrough”, the next single from the songwriter’s soon-to-be released EP Rough Draught.
Doug has already released two singles to date, “Above The Clouds” featuring ReddOktobba recording artist Coole High and “Rules of Engagement” featuring Slim and Mr. Wonderful of Black Pearl Mafia. Both are available as free downloads via IHMG’s official BandCamp webpage.
As a member of the Aqua League (the in-house production team at Ironhorse Music Group), The Bronx MC’s work has been featured across cable television networks such as MTV, MTV2, The Speed Network, Bravo and VH1 and will be featured in Universal Pictures’ Fast Five starring Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Tyrese Gibson and Dwayne Johnson (in theaters and IMAX April 29th) .

Ironhorse Music Group’s hip-hop duo Euphon’s track “Industrial Revolution (OA)” has been added to the Universal Pictures feature film FAST FIVE. The film starring Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Dwayne Johnson is set for release in theatres and IMAX on April 29th, 2011. The song is from the group’s 2007 release A Brief History of The Future. UNIVERSAL PICTURE’S FAST FIVE GETS MORE HORSEPOWER
Ironhorse Music Group recording artists Doug Simpson and Euphon’s music to be featured in latest installment of the adrenaline-charged franchise.
NEW YORK, APRIL 8, 2011 – Doug Simpson’s “Big City” and Euphon’s “Industrial Revolution (OA)” will be featured in the Universal Pictures release Fast Five starring Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Dwayne Johnson.
The songs, produced by Ironhorse Music Group’s in-house production team The Aqua League (Doug Simpson & Kareem Knight), will lend score support to the fast-paced action drama series. The Aqua League has had its music featured on several shows and reality series on MTV, MTV2, The Speed Network, Vh1 and Bravo as well as commercial and straight-to-DVD releases. Through its partnership with Indigi Music, this is Ironhorse Music Group’s first foray into major motion pictures.
Doug Simpson’s “Big City” featuring Slim of Euphon is from the producer/songwriter’s 2009 EP Sketches while Euphon’s “Industrial Revolution (OA)” is from the duo’s 2007 release A Brief History of The Future. FAST FIVE SYNOPSIS
Vin Diesel and Paul Walker lead a reunion of returning all-stars from every chapter of the explosive franchise built on speed in Fast Five. In this installment, former cop Brian O’Conner (Paul Walker) partners with ex-con Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) on the opposite side of the law. Dwayne Johnson joins returning favorites Jordana Brewster, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Tyrese Gibson, Sung Kang, Gal Gadot, Matt Schulze, Tego Calderon and Don Omar for this ultimate high-stakes race. Since Brian and Mia Toretto (Brewster) broke Dom out of custody, they’ve blown across many borders to elude authorities. Now backed into a corner in Rio de Janeiro, they must pull one last job in order to gain their freedom. As they assemble their elite team of top racers, the unlikely allies know their only shot of getting out for good means confronting the corrupt businessman who wants them dead. But he’s not the only one on their tail. Hard-nosed federal agent Luke Hobbs (Johnson) never misses his target. When he is assigned to track down Dom and Brian, he and his strike team launch an all-out assault to capture them. But as his men tear through Brazil, Hobbs learns he can’t separate the good guys from the bad. Now, he must rely on his instincts to corner his prey…before someone else runs them down first.
